Pressure from the Ghanaian public has apparently forced the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) to Terminate the sale of its 60% stake in a number of hotels.
Organized Labour had declared a nationwide strike action effective Monday, July 15, 2024, had SSNIT failed to terminate the sale of its stake in the hotels.
But the Board and Management of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) of Ghana have announced in a statement dated July 12 that SSNIT has terminated the process to sell its 60% stake in a number of hotels.
