With NPP Ticket Complete, Bawumia Says It’s Time To Close Ranks and Work Assiduously For Victory In 2024 Elections

Flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of Ghana, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has observed that with his party’s Presidential ticket now complete, it is time for members of his party to close ranks and assiduously to ensure resounding victory in the coming December 7, 2024 general elections.

Dr. Bawumia made the call in a post on his social media platforms after he and his running mate, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, were formally introduced to the Asante King, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manyhia Palace, as well as to members and supporters of the NPP, at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi.

He noted that “With the NPP ticket complete, it is time, now more than ever, for us to close ranks and work assiduously to ensure resounding victory in the coming polls.”

He subsequently expressed gratitude to Otumfuo “for his sound words of advice to me and the party in general. Let’s get to work from today.”

In attendance at the introduction of Dr. Bawumia and Dr. Opoku Prempeh were top executives and members of the New Patriotic Party including the party’s National Chairman, Stephen Ayesu Ntim, General Secretary, Justin Kodua Frimpong.
