South African Musician Mr Music Transitions From Afro-Pop Artist To Gospel

South African singer, Lungisani Mthethwa, popularly known as Mr Music, is making a transition from an Afro-Pop singer to a Gospel musician.

Mr Music took to Instagram to announce that he is set to record his first gospel song titled ‘The Calling’. The recording of this project is scheduled to take place at The Durban Playhouse on October 5, 2024.

Tickets for his October 5th event are already on sale.

His journey as a musician officially started as the runner up on season 16 of Idols SA. With his upcoming project “The Calling”, Mr. Music is hoping to make a significant impact on the world of gospel music.

His new project promises to offer a unique blend of authentic African and contemporary praise and worship elements.
