Former Ghanaian President, John Dramani Mahama, has cried over what he termed as unspeakable corruption, brazen theft and criminality under the current administration of President Nana Akufo-Addo and Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

He has therefore called for change of leadership in Ghana.

In a post on social media, Mr. Mahama bemoaned that “Unspeakable corruption, nepotism, brazen theft, waste of national resources, impunity, and general criminality have become the hallmarks of Ghana’s current government.”

According to him,

“With the national spirit sinking to an all-time low and hopelessness engulfing our country, a change in governance and direction is imperative. That is why I have decided to run for office as President.”

Speaking about the need to change the current government of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in order to end the corrupt practices, brazen theft, and criminality, Mr. Mahama wrote that “That’s is why I have decided to run for office as President.”
