A couple from Pennsylvania, USA, reportedly died in a rip current on Florida beach while they were on vacation with their six children.
Brian Warter, aged 51, and Erica Wishard, aged 48, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, according to US authorities.
The Martin County Sheriff’s Office reportedly said the couple was8 swimming on Hutchinson Island on Thursday afternoon when they and two of their teenage children were swept out to sea by a rip current.
Authorities said the two teenagers were able to escape and tried to rescue their parents, but “It became too dangerous and they were forced to swim ashore.
Responders accordingly found Warter and Wishard and gave them CPR on shore, and taken to a hospital where they were declared dead.
