3 persons dead as 2 communities clash over ritual practices in Ghana

 

Three persons have lost their lives in clashes between two communities over ritual practices in the Wa West District of the Upper West Region of Ghana.

 

The fight is reported to have taken place between residents of Lassia Tuolu and Kendew in the Wa West District, on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

 

According to reports, the three persons died during exchange of gunshots between feuding factions from the two communities.

 

The fight was reportedly over ritual practices.

 

Two of the victims were reported to have died at the scene while the third person died from injuries later.
