Lionel Messi, one of the greatest players football has ever produced, says he will draw curtains on his club career at Major League Soccer club, Inter Miami.

The Argentine World Cup winner, Major League Soccer side, Inter Miami, will be the last club he play in his club career.

Messi, an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, currently plays for Inter Miami. He joined the US club from Paris Saint-Germain.

In an interview with ESPN on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Messi announced “Inter Miami will be my last club, yes.”

According to the former Barcelona player, “I love playing football so I enjoy everything much more because…I am aware that every time there’s less and less. I am enjoying every small detail.”
